Losing Sight of Shore follows the extraordinary journey of four brave women known as the Coxless Crew that set out to row the Pacific Ocean from America to Australia unsupported. During nine months at sea, they face extreme mental and physical challenges they must overcome in order to go down in history. The record setting expedition began in April 2015 and the Coxless Crew included Laura Penhaul, Emma Mitchell, Natalia Cohen, Isabel Burnham, Lizanne Van Vuuren and Meg Dyos. They began in San Francisco, CA and set off on an 8,446-mile journey across the Pacific Ocean to Cairns, Australia. This is a story of perseverance, friendship and the power of the human spirit.
Everyone has a Pacific to cross.
