Facilities at Small World Centre are wheelchair accessible. A ramp in keeping with the curvilinear frontage of the building provides an easy pathway to our double front doors.
Please note we do not have any visitor or audience parking at the building. There are two council run car parks within a two minute walk that are very convenient. Visitors with mobility issues may arrange to be dropped off and collected and if you are hiring the space its possible to unload your vehicle.
Using the Kitchen
Where the hiring includes the use of the kitchen for catering purposes or otherwise the hirer is expected to:
- Leave the kitchen in a clean and tidy state
- Remove all kitchen refuse including general waste and recycling.
- We ask that those running their own bar please recycle all glass bottles and other empty drinks containers.
The hirer should also adhere to food hygiene guidelines set out by the Food Standards Agency, and display their own Food Hygiene rating if catering for members of the public. Kitchen checks should be carried out by the hirer prior and following each event. A checklist is supplied by Small World Theatre and on public display in the kitchen.
