Have you or are you experiencing issues around anxiety, depression, self-harm, low confidence or low self-esteem?

The Amethyst Project works with young people experiencing these issues. Our ten week programme is for Years 7, 8 and 9.  There are opportunities to join.

The courses provide a safe, supportive, non-judgemental space where you can explore some of the difficulties you have been experiencing through theatre, games and exercises.

You’ll get to meet a Leader who will assess your needs before you join the programme. We look at serious subjects, but you will not be made to talk about anything you don’t want to talk about and you can also expect good humour and laughter.

Our project leaders have been working with the Amber Project in Cardiff running similar 10 week programmes for ten years. Participants at Amber Project have said that working in this way makes them feel listened to, gives them positive ways to explore their feelings and to express themselves and increases their confidence and self-esteem.
