Small World Centre - home to Small World Theatre and available for hire!

You can book one or more of our rooms for events when they are not in company use. Small World Centre is a flexible space and a fantastic venue for live events including theatre, music, drama, dance and performance.  There are also spaces suitable for conferences, seminars and meetings.

Accessibility

Facilities at Small World Centre are wheelchair accessible.  Special consideration was taken in the design phase of the building and a ramp in keeping with the curvilinear frontage of the building was installed which provides an easy pathway to our double front doors.

Kitchen

a lovely, light and informal meeting space with access to tea and coffee making facilities.

Dance Studio

60sqm This is a delightful, quiet room with large windows and a sprung wooden floor.  Its used regularly for classes and small events and comfortably caters for 15 - 18 people in movement and 40 people seated.

Central Space

(100sqm) With amazing acoustics and lots of natural light, the main space is an impressive space for any live event or function.  We offer the option of a blackout for live theatre/ gigs.  Our Dance Studio space can be connected to create a larger venue which comfortably seats 120 people.

Tech Room

The tech room can be hired with the central space as a sound and light control area.

Education Room

Our education room is equipped for more formal meetings for up to 10 - 12 people and ideal for one to one sessions.
