Invitation to a Legislative Theatre Performance online

March 18 Mawrth 2022

11am – 1pm

Amethyst Project has been awarded funding by Carer Support Innovation Fund to produce a piece of Legislative Theatre with parents and guardians of young people with mental health issues across Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire. We have been working with the group to support them and discover their personal stories and the systemic issues that they experience through having a young person with mental health problems.

Legislative Theatre is part of Theatre for the Oppressed developed by Augusto Boal as a democratic technique to explore legislation. Small World Theatre will use this technique to explore legislation and systematic rules around the mental health systems operating in West Wales from the parents/ guardians’ personal experiences.

We are delighted to invite you to an online performance on Friday 18 March 2022 at 11am. The performance will be followed by a breakout session, which is an important part of the process.

Please RSVP Deri Morgan, Project Manager deri@smallworld.org.uk.

Please ask any questions about the event.
