Aerial Taster Session 11 – 16s
This session is for ages 11 – 16 years.
A fun introduction to the fundamentals of aerial circus. After a follow-along warm-up, you’ll learn how to get up onto the apparatus and create shapes in the air, in a safe and confidence-building environment.
No experience is necessary for these sessions. Though some body awareness is really helpful e.g. from dance, yoga, climbing or martial arts etc.
Maximum of 10 participants per 1.5-hour class working in a buddy pair to share one piece of apparatus together for the session.
What to wear
form-fitting clothing that you feel comfortable to move in, including a top you can go upside down in without it falling over your face! Leg wear should cover the waist and backs of the knees. Please remove jewellery.
What to bring
Face-covering, mat to warm up on, water bottle.

Booking Your Place on Online
Please book one session per child and we will confirm each booking with a follow-up email. Booking must be done by a parent or guardian, and you will be required to return a Google Form asking for some information to complete the booking process.
What to bring
Please bring a face-covering (for ages 11+) water bottle and snack if needed.
Limited Numbers
Places are limited, so please book early. Our activities are run with maximum of 10 children/ young people taking part. We will run a reserved list if we reach capacity. If you notice that the activity is fully booked, please email info@smallworld.org.uk to be added to this list.
Access and Parking
Small World Theatre is a fully accessible building. However, there is no parking at Small World Theatre and parents are asked to contact the team if their child/ young person has access requirements. Parents are asked to drop off their child/ young person on foot. Parents are kindly asked to remain outside the building to limit the number of people and risk to those indoors.
