An inspiring workshop for children and young people who wish to make their own sculptures using driftwood from local beaches. This fun activity only requires imagination. Materials are provided and there will be facilitators at hand to help you operate tools and create your artwork.

Aerial Circus Taster Session for 11 – 16s

Ages: 11 – 16

For children living in Ceredigion only. This activity is  provided by Ceredigion County Council for children and young people living in Ceredigion. 

A fun introduction to the fundamentals of aerial circus. After a follow-along warm-up, you’ll learn how to get up onto the apparatus and create shapes in the air, in a safe and confidence-building environment.

No experience is necessary for these sessions. Though some body awareness is really helpful e.g. from dance, yoga, climbing or martial arts etc.

Maximum of 10 participants per 1.5-hour class working in a buddy pair to share one piece of apparatus together for the session.

What to wear

Comfortable form-fitting clothing that you feel comfortable to move in, including a top you can go upside down in without it falling over your face! Leg wear should cover the waist and backs of the knees. Please remove jewellery.

What to bring

Face-covering, mat to warm up on, water bottle.

Play in a Day for 12 – 16 years of age

Ages 12 – 16

For children living in Ceredigion only. This activity is  provided by Ceredigion County Council for children and young people living in Ceredigion. 

Explore the dramatist in you and join Small World Theatre to make a play in a day. Learn theatre skills, improvise and laugh your way through the day. There’ll be a short break at lunchtime (bring lunch with you) and before the final performance. Each young person can invite one parent to a socially distanced performance at 3pm.

An Introduction to Circus Skills for ages 6 – 10 years

This session is for ages 6 – 10 years

For children living in Ceredigion only. This activity is  organised by Ceredigion County Council for children and young people living in Ceredigion only. 

A fun day trying a range of circus skills with expert trainers. You’ll have a chance to learn basic skills including balancing, juggling and clowning, as well as playing theatre games. These sessions will be suitable for most abilities and great fun for beginners.

What to wear: form-fitting clothing that you feel comfortable to move in, including a top you can go upside down in without it falling over your face! Leg wear should cover the waist and backs of the knees. Please remove jewellery.

What to bring: face-covering, mat to warm up on, water bottle.
