We’re COVID-secure

We are delighted to be entering into a phased re-opening of Small World Theatre. We have made some important changes so that we comply with Welsh Government guidelines and the advice of Public Health Wales and Ceredigion’s Public Services Board Sub-Group; Understanding our Communities. Measures have been introduced for your safety that include reduced capacity, enhanced cleaning, a ‘one-way system’, online payments and hand sanitiser stations. The safety of our visitors, performers, volunteers and staff are of utmost importance to us.

This is new ground for all of us and we appreciate your patience and help entering this new phase. The current pandemic situation is being monitored regularly. We may need to change our plans at short notice, so please check frequently for any updates on our website and social media.

Classes information

Syrcas Byd Bychan aerial classes for adults will begin in October. They are key to the phased re-opening and will be monitored closely. All other classes are postponed for the time being.

Test Track Protect

We collect contact information about visitors in line with Welsh Government policy. We are also displaying a poster with the venue’s QR code for use with the NHS app.

You must not attend the venue if you believe you may be infected with COVID-19 or have experienced symptoms the last 14 days. Please do not visit if you have been in close proximity to anyone who has experienced symptoms in the last 14 days or if you have been instructed to self-isolate.

Social distancing

We have created a one-way system around the ground floor of the venue and added 2m foot prints to guide you.

Do I need to wear a face covering?

Face coverings are required for inside the building and must be worn at all times in line with Welsh Government guidance.

What additional safety measures are we taking?

Transactions will be cashless and paperless where possible. Enhanced cleaning will happen with additional cleaning between classes. We ask you to help by taking your rubbish home with you. If you have any concerns, please email info@smallworld.org.uk
