Welcome to Theatr Byd Bach
Home to Small World Theatre and its projects, and a venue for live events.
Small World Theatre is home to the puppet theatre company of the same name. It is a beautiful, creative near-zero carbon space on the West coast of Wales, with a supportive team and fully accessible facilities.
The company uses its venue for its own events and classes, but it is also available to hire. A highly skilled team will work with you to present your event, party, meeting or conference. We are one of the few venues offering aerial circus facilities and aerial training in Wales.
All hirings start with a chat so we can work out your requirements and expectations. We can advise you on room layouts, technical support, ways to engage your audience and more. Please contact Helene helene@smallworld.org.uk, 01239 615952.
Accessibility.
Facilities at Small World Theatre are fully accessible to audiences, participants and staff.
A ramp in keeping with the curvilinear frontage of the building, provides wheelchair friendly, easy access to our double front doors.
We have gender neutral toilet facilities in the venue. Three are fully accessible and positioned on the ground and first floors.
A wheel chair accessible lift is available to people with mobility issues from the ground floor to the first floor office areas.
Parking. Please note we do not have any visitor or audience parking outside building. There are two council run car parks within a two minute walk that are very convenient. Visitors with mobility issues may arrange to be dropped off and collected. Hirers of the space can arrange parking to unload etc.
