Arts, health and nature partnership brings creative opportunities to young people in West Wales.

The ‘Amethyst Ffynnon’ partnership is Small World Theatre, Ffynnon Community Resilience (Ffynnon) and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). The specialist team is launching a 6-week programme to support young people who are struggling with their mental health to creatively connect to nature supported by Arts, Health and Wellbeing Lottery Funding through The Arts Council of Wales.

Celf Wyllt is an exciting pilot project that combines creative arts, emotional regulation techniques and a connection to nature to improve mental health and well-being in young people aged 14 - 16. The project runs until June 2025.

We’re working with young people using arts in nature as a tool for emotional regulation. Through this exciting new partnership, we believe that participants will find themselves in supportive and enjoyable sessions.

The project aims to build a sense of belonging and create connections to the self through nature and art using all of the senses and elements.
