We're delighted to announce this year's Cardigan Giant Lantern Parade on 6 December - 7pm, thanks to new project funding for a Festival of Light receiving financial support from the Cynnal y Cardi Fund, administrated by the Cynnal y Cardi team, Ceredigion County Council, on behalf of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

This year the theme is the river Teifi. 💦 🌿 ⭐️

Suitable

Lantern Making is suitable for ages 8+ and all children must be accompanied by an adult. Families with younger children are encouraged to work together. Please bring an apron and a packed lunch.

Spend the morning creating your lantern framework using sustainably grown willow. Get messy in the afternoon adding glue and tissue paper to your frame. All lanterns are stored safely at Small World Theatre until the Parade.
